Firmware

We use the term "firmware" for all software that runs on the microcontroller of the Gluonpilot module (see Hardware).

Mplab development environment

The code is written in c, and compiled using the C30 compiler from microchip. The development environment we use is Mplab, which integrates nicely with the C30 compiler and the ICD2 (or other) programmer.
