HOW TO DOWNLOAD LATEST FIRMWARE UPDATE ?

Just put anything that is not directly related to the Gluon-specific implementation here. I will create subforums if required!

HOW TO DOWNLOAD LATEST FIRMWARE UPDATE ?

Postby sid » Tue Apr 06, 2010 5:33 pm

HI Tom,
Is there any tool by which we can download teh latest changes or the firmware file..? LIke Tortoise svn or something ..

ANother thing if you write some detail about the changes (I mean log message) in the revision heading would be helpful.

Hey Sid,

Yes you should use Tortoise SVN and download it from the google repository: http://code.google.com/p/gluonpilot/source/checkout

I commented on the latest commit too :-)

Right now everything for stabilized flight should work. All needed settings can be changed by the config tool!

When "return home" works I will make it the first official release!

Tom, I see that you have checked in revision 40.
Could you share some more light on this?

I see that Gluonconfig tool has some more options. Are they functioning?

Also I see that there are no new topic on the forum. Is it dieing?

Hi Lukasz,

I'm working on the navigation part and decided to slightly redesign the gluonconfig tool as well. The gluonconfig together with the new firmware is working on the bench, but I still need to do a lot of tests before the release gets official.
It's more like a check-in to make sure I don't lose the code if the hard drive crashes :-)

Yes indeed it's a bit more quiet on the forum. As far as I can tell most people are on vacation or prefer support by email or other ways: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1271417

How are your tests going?

I didn't know that there is a separate topic on rcgroups. Good to know.

Anyway, worth forcing people to write posts so this knowledge doesn't get lost.

This week i should finish off my flying wing and should be ready to test Gluonpilot in action :)
I'm putting a lot of heart to build this wing. All electronic parts will be hidden inside the wing so all is Aerodynamic. Once finished I will post some photos so all can take a look at it.
