Quadrokopter FW [Done]

Postby MarkusR » Fri Dec 02, 2011 7:10 am

Hello,

I use Gluonpilot are already some time in the Easy Glider, now I've built a quadrocopter (SLE 9).
Unfortunately, I manage not to compile a quadrocopter firmware.
With firmware 0.4 I have problems with that, it will always output a different signal for four engines (tested with servos).

Who can I compile the new version as Quadrokopter?
Can you send me possibly also your PID servo Settigs and setting, etc.?

Is that right?
"YAW" = "Rotate or"
"Engine" = "height"
"Pitch" = "back before"
"Roll" = "Left Right"

Is there a detaild instructions to compile the firmware? MPLap I, the mplabalc30 compile but I do not even remember where I need to copy / install.

Thank you

With the self-creating, according to wiki Quadrokopter firmware does not even really nothing of the gyro.

If I want to compile I get the output http://www.heypasteit.com/clip/04AF
The Hex is created but it can be seen a few errors, it is possibly this?

I'm specially interested what ESC you used?
Did you modify them to fast PWM?

I'm not sure but since he used the old firmware for quadrocopters, I'm sure it will be an ESC that support fast PWM :-)

Btw, Tom do you know which ESC supports fast pwm?
I know that there is a possibility to modify ESC that have atmega processors, but is there an ESC that already supports that without modifying?

For sure you are able to modify TowerPro ESC

Fast PWM is normal PWM, but only sent faster to the ESC.

Most chinese ESC's support this. I use turnigy plush ESC's, but the cheap hobbyking SS also supports this.

Hello,

So here's my settings:

4x # NTM2830-750/16229 NTM Prop Drive Series 28-30A 750kV / 140w = $ 59.96
4x # NTM28-ACC/16719 NTM Drive Prop 28 Series Accessory Pack = $ 4.40
4x # TURNIGY Basic 25A v3.1 Speed TR_B25A/3731 controller = $ 63.44
Corona S 6ch Reciver
3S SLS APL 2200 mah Lipo
MaxxProducts EPP1045
SLE Fram under water jet from 2mm Aluminium was yesterday Optimirt (Longer booms and other feet)

Lord of the settings I use the FW: 0.4, roll / pitch 30 °, PID values, roll / pitch at P = 0.4, D = 8 YAW the other values do not seem to entertain (I, etc.) may possibly tom we say yes, what and how are the values?

Important and it is also quite useful to enter the copter was gas, we have that put on a switch, so that it is just apart of the the causes of the copter never hard to come! Helped us a lot and is gentle on the material.

Video to follow, are not as nice as yesterday we fought pretty much wind.

Tom would be very grateful if he would adapt the new FW for quadrocopter, so navigation works, and keep skipping for height.

I think Gluonpilot quadrocopter and has a future, because there is no other controller with the award-quality, equipment, and support.
