Building GluonCS on C#

Hi Tom,
When I try to use the write command to setup the config, I get this error message:
[09:12:22.41] Error checksum
[09:12:22.42] ERROR received data: $SI;0;c;f;b;e;?*49a
To study this error I want to have a look in the software of the GluonCS but I can't build it. One file is perhaps missing:
C:\Users\Eric\Mes Projets\Gluonpilot\trunk\Software\Gluonconfig\GluonCS\GluonCS.csproj : error : Impossible de lire le fichier projet 'GluonCS.csproj'.
I'm using FTDI cable and my hardware is V0.1 #6
Thanks for your help
Regards
Eric

Sorry, still in progress. I've got so much work to do with GP2 that I don't know what to do first
No worries, I'll get there

Hi Tom,
In addition to my post above, I would like to bring the following points to you:
When I call the "basic configuration" screen I get an error message which I have attached the screen snapshoot below. If I press "continue" then I can set all the parameters correctly on this "easyconfig". When I press "burn and close" the transaction seems to be ok. The Gluonpilot module uses well this setting. But, if I power off the module and I power on again, I lost this configuration even the flightplan.
It seems there is a "write" but not a "burn" into the flash memory.
I don't know if it is a firmware or software problem.
For the parameters which are under the "full configuration" screen: telemetry, servo, pid etc... each time I try to write them I get an error of the type :
[09:12:22.41] Error checksum
[09:12:22.42] ERROR received data: $SI;0;c;f;b;e;?*49a
I'm using the v0.8 version with a hardware v0.1i
Thank you for your help
regards
Eric

Hi Eric,
The $SI command is the burn a navigation line.
Do you have a gluonpilot with 1MB or 2MB memory?

Hi Tom,
The flash memory chip is ATMEL 45DB161D-SU, that is 16 MBits.

Hi Eric,
This error probably occurred because you don't have a valid configuration. Please load the factory settings and do you configuration.

Hi Tom
After many trials I finally solved the problems I encountered. I usually start with programs "source" and compile them for either the software or firmware. Today I tried from executables (using the bootloader) which are available for download and it works!
Regarding the firmware it seems, there is something different between sources "SVN" compiled by myself and the executable available for download. Which difference? I don't know.
Regarding software GCS the file "GluonCS.csproj " is to be included.
I have a request to solve a display problem: is it possible to change the settings of the window "EasyConfig"? My "little field" laptop which has a resolution of 1024x600 does't give me access to control buttons at the bottom of this window. I can't change this.
Thank you, Tom
Best regards
Eric

Hello Eric,
In the next version this will be solved. Gluonconfig will have 4 tabs:
- Tab 1: Something similar to easyconfig
- Tab 2: OSD configuration
- Tab 3: Advanced config (current gluonconfig)
- Tab 4: Datalogging
So the smaller gluonconfig screen will be a good match for your laptop
