Gluonpilot

It has become a tradition since 2007... Every year I try to do an UAV flight out to our local lighthouse aboute 2 km's off the coast.

This year I wanted to try something new, so I went with a friend who owns a fast Buster XXL boat beside the UAV all the way out and back. This means that the route was slightly longer than previous trips - approx 20 minutes total including 7-8 minutes stand-by circling while getting ready with the boat before and after the route (humans are slower than drones).

What is you secret of high quality videos on youtube?
I have Mobius camera and output files in format MOV, resolution is very good. But after it is uploaded to youtube, quality is much worse than original. I am asking for advice.

Hi Vitik!

I use a GoPro3 cam although I have used the Mobius also in the past.
Generally I am using a Mac for editing (iMovie) and it generates a MOV file with pretty good resolution and that is what I upload to Youtube. Maybe if you try another editing software the Youtube compression will be better?

Are you happy with the Mobius otherwise?
