Good evening all,

I think that i have found the type of flightplan that can fit my needs but while doing ground trials I have stepped into an issue : I have a flightplan uploaded to autopilot , after power up first time when i'm activating the autopilot and i'm passing near the waypoints it seems that i can hit all of them.
If I switch to another flight mode then reactivate the autopilot mode and pass near the same waypoints i cannot hit them ( even if i go near the waypoint).

To better understand please check this video :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnCuQRr ... KZ_4qZcxPQ

The waypoint radius is 25m.On the first pass everything is ok, on the second passs , even if I go near the waypoint 8, i cannot "hit" it.The only difference between passings is that i have deactivate and reactivate the Auto mode for autopilot.

According with "Next WP" value from the Ground Control station i am "touching" waypoint 8 from the flightplan, but somehow it is not registred..

What could be the cause?

Thank you,
Alex

Interesting,
I think you might have found a bug! I will check the code.

Possible cause:
Previous waypoint = 8
Current waypoint = 8

What to do?

Hi Tom,

The big question is why the issue did not appeared during the first run ? It only appeared after i have activated the second time the autopilot mode.

If the issue will be solved these days, all the weekend I programmed flights :) .

Does it also happen when you use FlyTo instead of FromTo?

I will try this evening using Fly To and come back with feedback.

Hi Tom,

with Fly To it seems that is no issue:

And, if it helps to find the problem , more trials using From To:

Good evening,

During the last days I had time to make several flights, overall the wing/autopilot was OK, with the last version of the flightplan I have the possibility to open the lens only during Auto mode.

The only issue that remained is related with the story above :If i'm using From to and i'm interrupting the flight during auto mode and i'm restarting it i have issues with hitting the first waypoint.

Here is an example of a flight made yesterday:

To stich the images i have used Microsoft ICE.

I must play more with camera focus , almost half if the pictures are not clear enough...

Tom, when you have time, please implement the request regarding the area covered by the survey area.

Thank you,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Not bad! My last photomapping has been a while but consisted of about 150 images so it covered quite a large area.

I general I preset the focus to infinity and set the shutter time (Tv) to 1/2000

Hi Tom,

In my case from 85 pictures , Tv 1600 ,I have selected 56 as ok.

By area covered I mean :

Hi Tom,

It is possible to implement as second option regarding the type of flightplan something like this :

Image

It will help a lot for fast airplanes to make better the turns.
