I have board version 0.1j
Using PICKIT 2 and ICSP connector I have updated the firmware to latest 0.8beta4
In the Gluon Config the sensor reading for the Z Gyro is suspect.
Gyro Raw is 0 (zero)
Neutral = 31850
Processed is -198.458598
This tells me there is not output from the Z Gyro. I suspect the voltage regulator MIC5252 is not accurate ( or dead ) More testing shows there is no output from the MIC5252
Would it be acceptable to solder jumper SJ4 to provide 5 volts to the Z Gyro or is the 5 volts not stable enough?
Would I have to remove the MIC5252 if I put a jumper across SJ4?
I am unable to get an itty-bitty SOT mic5252. I am only able to get an SOT23 mic5252 at 4.75 volts. It will be a bit awkward to install the larger part.
I am open to suggestions.
Thanks
Jim H
