Skywalker build

Postby Jorn » Sat Jun 09, 2012 12:00 am

Hi!

I am about to install my new Gluonpilot into a Skywalker airframe and would very much like to see some picktures from a similar installation before I glue the pieces together, Skywalker or something not too differnt.

Thanks in advance,

Jorn

Suddenly, I can't connect to the Gluonpilot anymore. The module appears to be running as normal, but the only communication which seemes to be possible is to reboot it via the config tool.
The module is stripped from everything and connected to ta laptop via the ftdi cable, com port baud rate set to 57600. After booting, only the red light is blinking.

Any suggestions what I might try?

Reload default configuration :-) Or change the telemetry in gluonconfig using one of those 2 buttons.

Maybe you accidently disabled telemetry

Thanks fast reply!

But still can't connect. When I try to re-upload the firmware, it looks normal until the "searching for bl....." times out. Also tried the ds30 bootloader with baud rate set to 115200, but with same result.

If the red LED is blinking this means the module is running properly. Can you connect at 57600 baud and see if the reset command works?

What if you press
Gluonconfig -> Configuration -> Telemetry -> Button "set for configuration (serial FTDI connection)"

Still nothing, I can reboot the module but nothing else. In the config tool, it seemes like the module is connected, but the config tool receives no messages. In the control station, when I press connect, the "Link" indicator goes green for 1 second, then yellow for 3s, then red.
