Problem with 6th channel

Postby cassini » Wed Feb 22, 2012 12:52 am

Hi,

Just bench-testing. (Got the electronics but no plane!)

Channels 5 and 6 are both 2-way switches on my transmitter.

When I'm just using the servos into the receiver, the two channels work well at the same time.

When I'm using gluonpilot, and view the signals in gluonconfig - if I connect EITHER channel 5 or 6, it responds well. HOWEVER, if I connect both channels at once, channel 6 in gluonconig is unresponsive and cycles up and down randomly.

It doesn't matter which channels go from the receiver to gluonpilot - channel 6 in gluonconfig never responds if channel 5 is also 'active'!

Also - channels 5 and 6 on my board are switched - channel 6 seems to be the bottom left pin (?) - not as labelled. Is this normal?

Any ideas?
thanks.

Hmm I'll need to test this myself. I've heard some people indeed saying input channel 6 doesn't work as expected, but haven't tested it myself. I'll do it this weekend :-)

As alternative you can choose the Yaw channel, which isn't used anyway.

haha, you read my mind! No yaw so channels 4 and 5 combo work fine.

Would be good to get the solution though.
