RTOS V0.8 Beta and GCS 0.8 Beta

Hi Tom,
I have flashed the board (V 0.1n) with the latest beta code and programmed my XBee`s to 57600 baud to match what the new firmware requires. Since then, I have noticed in Gluon GCS that the artificial horizon has some lag (delay in reaction)
I tested it out in Happy Killmore GCS and have the same problem.(It`s actually worse in HKGCS) It seems with the new firmware, AHI update is much slower. There seems to be half a second delay between the board position and the Artificial Horizon indicator.
With the previous firmware at 115200, the response was instantaneous. Any thoughts?

Hi Tom,
Any luck on your end? I tried several things, changing Hz settings etc... to no avail. Lag with Xbees, a little less with strait FTDI but still there.

Yes I noticed there it indeed a little bit lag. I'll check with an older version and see what could be the reason.

Hi Tom,
Have you figured out a way around this yet? Would your latest firmware fix the issue?
Thanks,

I expect the buffering of the COM-port causes this delay. Does it bother you?

I also have that problem, that hangs in the 0.8 Gluonpilot always when the model is moving faster ...

Then the horizon is level and does nothing.

Furthermore, it is so that all par minutes in a jump height profile is a 80km ..
