Hi Tom,

Quads are fun too, I will get to them eventually. Do you think we will be able to have both the Magnetometer and the Airspeed sensor on the Gluon? Or will we have to use the SPI port?

I"ll be traveling but back next week, I will place all my orders then.

Regards,

The magnetometer uses the I2C port (and the airspeed sensor probably will too).

Don't put your hopes too high for the aispeed sensor: It will take at least a few months before I'll have time to work on that. But no worries: I expect no big advantages for normal hobby flights in normal weather conditions.

Less sensors also means less potential problems :-)

Hi Tom,

Sorry, I am a bit of a noob when it comes to I2C bus. I imagine we can put more than one device on the same I2C port.
I am happy to see you have your OSD and Xbee board design completed, looks very sharp. Will you be selling them in the shop at some point?
And a working magnetometer! Things are moving fast!
The airspeed sensor can wait for now, worse comes to worse, I can always add an analog one to display airspeed on the OSD screen.
Cheers,
magellan

Yes you can put several I2C devices on 1 port.

Indeed the OSD / Extention board will be sold in the shop. Probably in 2 variations:
1. With switched voltage regulator, OSD and XBee connector
2. Only with switched voltage regulator and XBee connector
