Rudder on Delta/flywing mode setup

Postby fba » Sat Mar 14, 2015 4:06 pm

Hello,

I am working on a Skywalker X8 flywing setup. I would like to handle the winglets to work as rudders. On delta mixing there is no output for yaw/rudder channel. Could be a problem to plug the rudder direct to the receiver output? Not from Gluonpilot servo output because I have checked that it doens´t work.

Thanks
Francisco

That's no problem. Do you think this will work? Using winglets as rudders?

Hi Tom

I only need it to head the flywing at the landing so I think could work. The servo travel is limited only to right side at the right winglet and the reverse on the left due to adverse yaw.

Because the nose wheel must turn right and left I need to use Arduino or similar to manage the three differents servos travels with only a transmitter channel. Another possibility is to play with the Multiplex Evo programming on a channel outside the Gluonpilot input as really this is. I will try it before set up the autopilot, first I flight on manul mode and later I will plug Gluonpilot.

Thanks
Francisco
