esc to servo power

Postby phibin » Sun Apr 22, 2012 1:48 pm

if you dont solder the jumper on the bottom of the board,
there is no 5v connection to pwm 1-6 +iv pins...?

so that track on the board is not connected to anything other than the other 1-6 pins?

if this is the case, is it ok to plug the esc and servos directly into the board?
that way the esc powers the servos with out lots of extra wires?

of course you must not solder jumper and still power gluon separately...

but would this work?

thanks,

simon.

I was wondering if it's possible to share the NMEA output of a single GPS between gluonpilot and an eagle tree osd in particular, is it as simple as connecting the GPS's output to both units with one of them of course providing power or is it more complicated?
