I am looking to get some xbee modules, but am unsure if I should get series 1 xbee, or the newer xbee series 2.5. I dont rely care about the extra setup required for 2.5, as you just need to make 1 a coordinator, and the link Tom gave seems give a good tutorial. But overall what would the recommendation be?

Thanks

I don't think it differs a lot. I use series 1 because:
- it is 60mW instead of 50mW
- easy configuration :-)
