I have another idea how to improve current Gluonpilot board.
At the moment if we want to select same power source for Servos, rx, ESC we need to close solder jumper SJ2 and SJ3.
Because at some point I would like separate power source for Gluonpilot and remaining components I would need to brake this connection.
Ideally would be an option to select between both. We could do this by adding pins that would allow the user to place a jumper and do the selection - something similar as we have on PC motherboards or HD:

Small change but could be beneficial.

Hi Tom,

- I2C Airspeed Sensor either onboard or as a separate little module!

I will be ordering one in december for sure when your new boards come out.

@Lukasz: what do you mean "option to select both". You only need a soldering iron now. I fear that a jumper might not be completely reliable.

@Oliver: Yes, I'm planning to do that. Somewhere this winter when it's too cold to do anything else :-)

Tom, I mean to select either separate power source or one power source.

Is the solder jumper too annoying?

No it's not that annoying :)
The thing is that currently I use one power source - this is because i have limited space in the plane.
If I want to move the module to my second plane which has more space and I would use two power sources than I would need to brake (SJ2 and SJ3) the connection. Instead I could just remove the jumper.
Later if I would like to move to a smaller plane with limited space and use one power source than I would put the jumper.

This is just a proposal.....

but in this case you could use your soldering iron to open or close the jumper?

Yes, you're right.
But I wanted to avoid using solder each time I want to select whether to use 1 or 2 power sources.

You could also leave holes in pcb so the users can select. Either they would place pins and than use jumpers or they would simply close solder jumper.
